Our Story

Welcome to The Cajun Leprechaun, where the fusion of Cajun spice meets Irish charm in the heart of Montgomery, Alabama. According to folklore, there are leprechauns, more specifically, Lutins, that are present in both Irish and Cajun culture. Determined to bring a taste of both worlds to the River Region, The Cajun Leprechaun was born!

The Cajun Leprechaun is ran by a fabulous staff with years of training to ensure their guests get the most delicious and unique dining experience.

Jeremy Johnson

Jeremy Johnson was born and bred in Montgomery, Alabama. He is a Lee High School alumni and a dedicated father and son. His passion for culinary arts stems from his father’s passion for making amazing traditional southern fair like BBQ, Greens, mac and cheese and other favorites. He started working in the restaurant industry at the tender age of 16, working every position in the kitchen from dishwasher to expeditor and everything in between. He has ventured into Atlanta to acquire cooking experience and expand his palate.

The spark that his father sparked led Chef Jeremy to study Culinary Arts and acquire his associate degree from Trenholm State Community College. He acquired his associate degree in culinary arts in 2022. Since then, He has worked in countless kitchens in in Montgomery and surrounding areas and has consulted and contributed to opening several establishments in the Gump.
